'Recommendation - Yacht upholstery'

I had Lantana Marine reupholster my yacht ''Clio'', a 1985 Jeanneau Attalia 32 I dealt with Naile Bayin who has excellent English We first discussed the job in October last and she visited the boat at Yatmarin to look at the work and what I felt ought to be done. She advised complete replacement of the old cushion foam as it was many years old. Many of the existing cushions fitted poorly and she made suggestions regarding better fit and the use of thicker material to improve the ergonomics of the saloon seating which included a slight slope to the seats which double as occasional berths and higher backs to the cushions. Back in the shop we looked at materials and having narrowed down possible she provided sample books to take back to the boat to check. Having chosen a material a stain proof tweedy herringbone pattern in pale green/beige mix we left her with a key and instruction to proceed.During the winter I paid a deposit when she started the work and the balance completion In Feb. She normally delivers new upholstery wrapped in cellophane but as a deck leak was evident on the boat she decided to store the cushions at her shop until I could deal with the leak on my return in took the opportunity to revarnish the saloon and fore cabin before she came with her team to fit the new cushions. The result was beyond my expectations. The interior of the boat has been ''lifted'' amazingly and she looks years younger! I am sure that the job could be done cheaper elsewhere but in my view it was very much worth the money. Naile''s professionalism and attention to detail made sure that I was totally satisfied. She is a perfectionist.
